As I type this out, my very shy 16 year old daughter will be standing in front of her class sharing her experience as a JW molestation survivor. I was so shocked yet very proud when she handed me over what she had written...boy did she slam the elders!!
I'll share her closing,
"people wonder why I always have a smile on my face and I'm always happy, just proving them wrong puts a smile on my face."
Being a mother of a child who was molested, I always fear if she'll be able to live a normal healthy life....I'm thinking she'll be just fine :)
