WATER? Coke is Better For You. Must Read.

Most or all of the characteristics of Coke that you mention, Mulan, are caused by Coke's undeniable acid Ph level. No mystery there. Lemon juice will do the same things you list for coke. So will vinegar.

Not only that, but water contains large quantities of di-hydrogen monoxide. Take a look at the characteristics of THAT stuff:

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possible a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

    DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE:

Is also known as hydric acid, and is a major component of acid rain.
contributes to the greenhouse effect may cause severe burns
accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals
may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes. It has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients CONTAMINATION IS REACHING EPIDEMIC PROPORTIONS!

Quantities of dihydrogen monoxide have been found in almost every stream, lake and reservoir in America today. But the pollution is global, and the contaminant has even been found in Antarctic ice. In the midwest alone DHMO has caused millions of dollars in property damage.

DESPITE THE DANGER, DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE IS OFTEN USED

as an industrial solvent and coolant in nuclear power plants.
    in the production of Styrofoam.
    as a fire retardant.
in many forms of cruel animal research.
in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.
as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.
Waste DHMO is allowed to pollute our precious lakes, rivers, streams and the ocean itself. The impact on wildlife is extreme, and we cannot afford to ignore it any longer!

The American government has refused to ban the production, distribution, or use of this damaging chemical due to it's "importance to the economic health of this nation." In fact, the navy and other military organizations are conducting experiments with DHMO, and designing multi-billion dollar devices to control and utilize it during warfare situations. Hundreds of military research facilities receive tons of it through a highly sophisticated underground distribution network. Many store large quantities for later use.

And you think DHMO is better than Coke? You must be smoking something very interesint.

Now, about that tattoo of yours.

That's it, I'm giving up any fluid that hasn't been matured for at least 12 years. It's for my health.

Francois, you forgot to mention that every single serial killer this country has known has been proven to consume quantities of DHMO at some point prior to going on a killing rampage...

IN FACT, DHMO is directly responsible for Stalin, Hitler, and Bin Laden living as long as they did - if they had been deprived of it at birth, surely, the world would have never know the terror they brought...

I know, openminded, I know. If people would just take more care before they do foolish things like drink actual water contaminated with di-hydrogen monoxide, or hydric acid, as it were, we'd all be a lot safer.

But you wait. Someone will get on here and pooh-pooh the whole idea. I'm just waiting for Mulan to respond.

Xander, if we'd only known. If we'd only known at the time.

    Coke Vs Water

75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half the world population.)

In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.

One glass of water shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U-Washington study.
Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble
with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?

    COKE

No wonder coke tastes soooooooooo good:
    1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car
    accident.

    2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.

    3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and.......Let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

    4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

    5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

    6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

    8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, And run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

    FYI:
    1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its Ph is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

    2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.

    3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or a coke?
