No witness revolution expected? It's going on already!

  This night I was a few hours awake and thinking again about our witness believe. And I saw the light!!

  Me and many others here at JWD/JWN do not expect any witness revolution and real change.

  But I think we completely miss some points!

  10 years ago we had to find Ray Franz in "The Better Bookstore".

  Today we have all the real Truths About The Thruth direct available at our tablet and computer / telefone devices.

  And we all know, JW's are reading this information. And post here also at the board with their story about their struggle and fading.

  THIS IS A REVOLUTION! THIS IS A REAL CHANGE. AND WILL HAVE REAL EFFECTS.

  I think you are correct.

  More and more JWs are just going through the motions. Even the pioneers.

  Hours spent "preaching" goes up, up, up, yet the number of new baptisms goes down, down, down.

  Preaching is demonstrably and increasingly ineffective and most JWs don't seem to care.

  JWs routinely ignore "loving counsel" on avoiding Facebook, university, shunning relatives, watching porn, etc.

  The numbers still look good - new peaks every year in total publishers, pioneers, & hours - but it's all just a facade.

  The "mojo" of being a Witness is gone, I suspect it is gone for good. The numbers will soon level off (it's inevitable with decreasing new baptisms) and then begin a lo-o-o-o-o-ng gradual decline.

  A quiet multi-generational revolution/exodus... I've viewed it that way, too, for a while.

  Fits with what we know about nature, acutally; organisms (including social organisms like the WTS) that cannot or will not adapt to a changing environment inevitably go extinct.

  Know what's even more interesting? Historically, authoritarian regimes that go out with a whimper instead of a bang never return.

  I always wonder why the preaching is so important for Yahweh (Jehovah)? Think of Sodom for example. As long as there is a man (in this story and time it was Lot) with his two daughters left and a cave where you can get drunk and have fun with your two daughters - why bother destroying all the others? The planet will soon be filled again. This time of course with holy people! By the way, in the other fantasy story, the one of Noah, Noah was found somewhere lying naked and drunk. Bad, bad boys, who Yahweh has chosen to fill up the planet again.
