If you are studying with a Jehovah's Witness there is a
very valid reason why you should refrain from having anything to
do with the Watchtower Society.
The longer you keep your distance from Jehovah's Witnesses, the
fewer false teachings you will need to unlearn should you ever
decide to become baptised as a JW.
Jehovah's Witnesses are forward looking people and are
beside themselves when they receive the latest Watchtower magazine.
To a Jehovah's Witness, it is as fresh as a new roll of toilet
paper.
True Jehovah's Witnesses feel the same way about the latest
Watchtower magazine as these true JW's did:
"Experiencing Jehovah’s Love'
Not all the persons I have known in the organization have maintained their appreciation for the truth. To illustrate this, I want to mention an experience I had while in the pilgrim service. I was in Philadelphia at the time, and, after I had given a talk, an elective elder who claimed to be a brother came up to me and said:“Brother Riemer, I got my Watchtower this morning. The only reason I read that Watchtower is to find out what you fellows in Brooklyn are trying to put over on us.” That was the spirit of some of the elective elders. They were causing splits in the congregations and in the work.
In contrast to the attitude of these elective elders was that of an elderly couple with whom I stayed on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia. The brother went down to get the mail before breakfast, and when we had breakfast he said,“Brother Riemer, I got a new Watchtower this morning, and do you know the first thing that Ma and I do when we get that Tower? We kneel down before we take the wrapper off and ask Jehovah to make us worthy to see what the message is that Jehovah has for us. Now, before we take the wrapper off, will you kneel down and pray with us?” How different that elective elder was from this humble couple who appreciated Jehovah’s organization!

Several weeks or months later that JW couple had to unlearn the message from Jehovah that was in that Watchtower because it was replaced with new light.
If you are studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses, what you are learning today will soon have to be unlearned because, just as the message from Jehovah in that couple's new Watchtower magazine was as fresh as a new roll of toilet paper it soon became soiled and had to be replaced with a new Watchtower magazine.
The Watchtower magazine you read today does not contain permanent messages, it is just a scratch pad used for temporary storage of preliminary information that all Jehovah's Witnesses will have to unlearn.
Are you studying with a Jehovah's Witness?

These children died because the WTS prohibited blood fractions
The WTS claimed that blood was equated to fornication and idolitry and that
not even a fraction of blood should be taken
The WTS claims that what they teach comes directly from the Bible
In the 2006 Awake magazine on page 12-12. The WTS states that
what they taught about abstaining from fractions was not from the bible
which means these children lives were cut short by the teaching of men not GOD
If you are in a study , do yourself a favor and stop.
becuase the truth of a jehovah's witnesses is shown to have an expiration date
wit' new light

Your points are valid.
Unfortunately, JWs have been conditioned to believe that, in order for WT doctrines to be true, they MUST change. This is called "progressive". Churches of Christendom are harshly condemned by WT for not changing most of their doctrines in hundreds of years. This is seen as a flaw in their theology.
This is why JWs get so excited whenever "new light" is presented- it's further 'proof' that the WT is God's Organization. If JW doctrines remained consistent and unchanged it would be viewed with suspicion and an indication God is not actively directing his "sole channel of communication on earth".
Of course, all of this ignores the simple fact that, if something is indeed true, then it does not, and cannot, change. Truth is truth.
Each "new light" change is touted as having solid scriptural basis and directed by Holy Spirit. When that current teaching expires, then the replacement doctrine is justified using the same distorted logic. What's worse, occasionally WT blames god for the error- he taught a lie in order to "test" Jehovah's Witnesses' faith. You see, in WT mentality, the god of truth requires you to believe lies- and if you have the audacity to reject lies, then god has no place for you in his organization. The WT worships such a nice god !

Your whole post is right on the mark ADCMS
And yes. there is solid scriptual basis for their changes.
Scriptures that Jehovah's Witnesses stay away from when they explain their " Noo Lite "
and scripture that describes them best
2 Corinthians 11:14-15
" And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming into an angel of light. It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But thier end shall be according to their works."
Question: What was shown in the May 15,1984 WT magazine and in the 1994 Awake ???
Answer : The older people were lied to, and children died based on opinions of men
Another scripture that Witnesses stop short of when they quote from the Bible is
2 Timothy 3:7
" Always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth."

If you are studying with Jehovah's Witnesses you should indeed stop immediately. This is because you will save yourself from being shunned by those who claimed to love you should you ever decide to leave the organization.

You make a good point. The sad truth is, a person can/will be shunned who has never been baptized as a JW. There are many members here who were never been baptized yet have been officially shunned by their family and former JW friends for not accepting "the truth".
Whether a person has only been casually associated with the JWs or is baptized and has faded or been disfellowshipped, the end result is the same- shunning. There is no dignified way to leave this religion.

Those are excellent scriptures you cited. Additionally, the core scripture WT uses to justify "new light"- Prov. 4:18- is not even talking about "revealed truth". The context makes that unmistakably clear. It's a classic case of cherry-picking to make the Bible say whatever WT wants it to say.
Not one Bible commentary I've read interprets Prov. 4:18 as teaching progressive "new light" doctrine.
