"The family of a California girl want “serious consequences” for the three 16-year-old boys charged in her sexual assault and held responsible for driving the teen to her death."

Yes, what those kids did was really bad, sexually assaulting her and taking pictures and posting them.

But why aren't the parent taking responsiblity for the ultimate cause. "The California teens are accused of sexually abusing Audrie Pott, 15, while she was passed out drunk at a classmate’s house party".

" 15, while she was passed out drunk at a classmate’s house party".

    Really????

Why is not blame being placed on the classmates and her family for having a party that served alcohol to 15 year olds, where those 15 year olds got drunk and passed out? Why is blame not being placed on her parents for allowing her to go to such a thing.

The parents need to be better monitors of their children and she should have been home studying for school rather than partying. The problem with this world is not cutting off the problems before they become problems, but want to blame the obvious. Even if there had been no rape and resulting pictures, would any of them have learned anything from her just getting drunk and passed out? That is what is sad. Because of that, this is doomed to be repeated.
