Current active JWs..question...is Facebook now OK...or NOT for good jdubs ?
I have to interface for business with a JDub who has an active FB page, and lists "Jehovah's Witness" under the "Religion" area- publicly.
So is this a super zealous JW...weak....disobediant...or zealot? Most JWs I know who FB for business put nothing under "religion" or "Christian".
How would you read this person?
Facebook has been fine for awhile. Quite a few older ones, pioneers and most of the elders wives have pages. It is not viewed as "less spiritual" by an means. At least not in th U.S.
I hit return too soon. Yes, many also list their religion as JW's.
FB is fine for JWs. It allows them to secretly keep in touch with all of their faded and DFd relatives and friends...
(don't tell the GB this, they are still trying to figure out this internet-thingy)
Perhaps it just a local thing then in my area. The local JWs all took down personal pages. The ones still on are using middle names and avitars and friends only settings.
