    Well, the WTS has been LYING with and to another government. Appears that the Czechs are as gullible as the Bulgarians.

    ============================================

    c. Freedom of Religion

    The Constitution provides for freedom of religion, and the Government generally respects this right in practice.

    The State subsidizes all religions that are registered officially with the Ministry of Culture. There are 21 state-recognized religions. To register a religious group must have at least 10,000 adult members permanently residing in the country. For any churches already recognized by the World Council of Churches, only 500 adult members permanently residing in the country are necessary. Churches registered prior to 1991, such as the small Jewish community, are not required to meet these conditions. Unregistered religious groups, such as the small Muslim minority, may not own community property legally, although they are otherwise free to assemble and worship in the manner of their choice. Their members can and do issue publications without interference. The Unification Church (UC), was denied registration in January 1999 when the Department of Churches determined that it had obtained the required proof of membership by fraud; the UC contested the decision in court, and the case remained pending at year's end. During the year, the Jehovah's Witnesses provided clarification of their position on blood transfusions to the satisfaction of the Ministry of Culture, and as a result, they remained registered officially.

    Clarifications ? something like : JWs who accept a blood transfusion will not be DF, but they show by their action that they're not JWs ?
    Or : Blood transfusions are a conscience matter ? .....

    Another word trick by the Watchtower is to say "We don't disfellowship anyone for taking a blood transfusion." To them it's okay to say that for what they REALLY mean is "we don't df anyone who takes a blood transfusion UNREPENTANTLY."

    In other words if you take one be sure to convince them you're sorry you did. Then they won't "officially" df you.

    Why not point this out to the Czechs etc, ajwrb.org, if you still are active?

    It would be nice if the WTS would provide clarification to their own members who are writing in and seeking such with regard to blood transfusions.

    It is too bad that the media and governments take priority over their own members. I wonder what the Czech gov't would think of the matter in Calgary?

    Not only are they lying, they're getting money from the Czech government.

    Unless someone know a different meaning of "subsidized," LOL.

    Another way they say it is, "We don't automatically disfellowship anyone for taking a blood transfusion."

    Of COURSE they don't do it automatically. FIRST they have a committee meeting, THEN they disfellowship your sorry ass.

    What a bunch of self-serving deceptive sacks-of-shit they are.
