As written in the sermon on the mountain: "-- YOUR father in the heavens --makes HIS sun rise on wicked people and good,---makes it rain upon on righteous people and unrighteous---"--- and then there is

the Tower of Siloam "GREATER SINNERS" question reported in Luke 13:4.

Did the bible writers have lucid moments, when they strayed from astounding stories and

    said it like IT IS?

Do you know of other examples hinting at the hiddeness of the creator?

The Bible writers really liked to create a literary fantasy world of miracles and gods, as it gave some meaning to a world they didn't understand- having virtually no scientific knowledge- and events occurring around them that made them feel confused and powerless. When times were good though, they were happy to tell it as it really was- like the rebuilding of Jerusalem in the Book of Nehemiah- just a story told in a factual way.
