No not a snake a sidewinding roller blind for my bathroom.
I don't mind decorating and I like gardening but this roller blind nearly finished me off.
Had to move the brackets three times!
Thought I was going to have to get a man in
But no it is up. How long it stays up is anyone's guess.

Home remodeling projects can be adventures sometimes. LOL
I once built a house and climbed down the 2 story chimney to hook up the fan ducts. I got stuck between the fireplace insert and chimney brick for about an hour. It was very hot, and a thunderstorm rained down upon me. I was the only one there, and I think I sweated enough to finally get myself free to climb up the chimney to freedom.

Duct tape. That is the best DIY tool ever invented.
The knack is to get them to roll up straight.
The guy that installed ours put little squares of paper in the roller at the top to increase the diameter very slightly. They run perfectly true and don't foul the sides.

lol I can identify with your frustration. I'd feel sorry for you except I just spent two days under a trailer house rerouting the sewer drains.
I just had my husband shorten a venetian blind, he looked up 4 you-tube videos so he wouldn't mess up. Saved his bacon, he originally planned on doing it from the top.
