    G'day squigles;

    just a thought i had earlier tday, jesus had a ministry lasted about 3 years yeh. Well i wonder why he didnt live out the normal 60 year life cycle. He would have had so much more accomplished yeh ? Now he was already on earth, his movement was getting momentum, he could have avoided getting caught by adversary's easily, could have easily gone to say egypt or europe and made some more progress, but he didnt. For some reason it was predestined for him to only have a ministry of just over 3 years. Funny that i would think the more the better.

    Any thoughts ?

    Hi Bathory,

    It does seem a little strange also that he didn't do anything until he was 30 years old. All the youth today are expected to be pioneers at a much younger age. Since he hasn't done anything for two thousand years since getting back to heaven I wonder what the rush to get back was?

    He went out with a bang while he was on top of his game.

    Bathory,

    Read the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail." It produces some interesting evidence that Jesus did not only live to a ripe old age, but he married and fathered children. It's about a 900 page book, though but since you like details, it produces plenty of them.

    What is the only 7 letter word in the English language that has all 5 common vowels?

    The time that Jesus spent here was sufficient for him to accomplish the purpose for which he came. Having been a spirit creature originally he wasn't SUPPOSED to be an earthling any longer than necessary. As a matter of fact, the angels that sinned in Noah's day are STILL enduring the punishment of Tartarus because, although being spirit creatures, they WRONGLY wanted to live as humans. This really should be an eye-opener for those of us who really care about the Bible -- regarding those who are destined to go to heaven in order to serve as rulers/priests alongside Christ for the 1000 years. Being humans originally they will surely return to earth after their job is done, even as Christ returned to his rightful abode. Yes, because they were human to begin with! Revelation 21:2 even attests to such being the case. The 144,000 are the "bride" of Christ mentioned there. And the setting is post-millennial. Their reign with Christ is OVER, not just beginning in that verse! That's why they are "coming down out of heaven", returning to earth to live obviously.

    Daniel 11:35 ... a KEY prophecy that must be fulfilled before the "time of the end" gets underway.

    tHE hOLY Grail/Holy Blood is a lot of Bullshit produced by someone who are making a mystery out of a priest making dross out of Masses for the dead.

    Bathory,

    IMO, Jesus was a rabbi trying to change the status quo for his people. He was killed for it just as Gandhi, Martin L. King and others were killed for trying to effect change.

    Stories about him began to circulate and some of these made him into what they wanted at the time; a Messiah. In addition Jesus' own religious fervor, successful ministry and strong love for his people may have caused him to think he was sent by God to save the Jews.

    Strip away the miracles and other fantastic elements of the Gospels and what is left are the good things taught by a Jewish rabbi who loved God and his people. IMO

    The night before he was captured, he prayed: Father if it be your will, let this cup pass away from me. He would have loved to stick around. His opposers, his Satans, made sure he didn't stick around.

    To destroy the enemy death he had to go through death.

    One Jesus died, twelve others stood up in his place. He lived on in his apostles and thousands who came after.
