  Boo ho, Boo ho.
  I just lost my post, it ws the best one I ever wrote.
  An amazing story full of passion and excitment with a little danger.
  And it all got wiped away at the touch of a botton.

  I, too, lost many a post, until I discovered a simple little trick.

  Whenever I finish writing a post, before clicking the "Reply to Topic" button, I highlight my text and click "copy". A copy of the text stays in the buffer. If my post is gobbled up, I simply put my cursor in the irritatingly blank page, and click "paste" - and it's back.

  It's happened to me too. Use the above magical incantation (draw a large pentagram around your monitor first with chalk, then light some candles + stuff) and you shalt be delivered from the wretched claws of the Incorrectly Pressed CGI 'Post' Button.
