If you divide those numbers (900 years) by the number of full moons
in a year (12-13) you get between 70-80 years. Plus can you imagine
filing 900 tax returns.
The current sexagesimal system of time measurement dates to
approximately 2000 B.C. So you can see a direct coalition with
ages in the Bible and the discovery of measurement of time.
Mankind prior to 2000 B.C living 900 years, afterward, look you
can't have a birthday every 3 or 4 months.
Because of joke-hova. When Satan was in charge before joke-hova intruded, we used to live hundreds of years and had abilities beyond what we know today. Then along came joke-hova to destroy everything. Lands were invaded. Cultures were trashed, being mixed into a mess that no one can benefit from. Then, those with knowledge were slaughtered and the knowledge destroyed. From here, life expectancies crashed.
And this happens each time we advance. I predict something far worse than the dollar becoming toilet paper--at least that you can prepare for in advance. Joke-hova will put up with it just so long before that thing starts censoring the Internet. Discussions will have to start following the pro-joke-hova agenda. People will be put in jail, and web sites shut down, for allowing open discussion on anything. Ultimately, we will be microchipped. No one will have any identity, except as a slave. That is how joke-hova wants it--that thing thinks of us as slaves that should live maybe 40 to 50 miserable years before dying off. At least silver and gold will protect you from a dollar that doesn't buy anything, but it will do no good against Internet II and your microchip.

id bank on a huge typo for the 900 age. it was probably 90. to live to be 90 in the days of the bible characters, would have been a milestone, since the life expectancy was so short. if it wasnt for unbridled sex , think just how much longer would it have taken mankind to get this far considering all the plagues [and wars like that of ghengus khan's] killed of a quarter the earths population many times over.

Let's play around with the idea as it were real, if humans believe their able to extend life using nanobots and new robotic bodies why can't we have this discussion for fun? Let's call it Science Fiction if you want, could the Aliens that started life on Earth tinker with human age if they desired because they wanted to see how long humans should live and at one point in time they hit the maximum benefit before longer life brought a diminished return to overall mankind?
One interesting theory I read is based off evil, if the most wicked human beings were allowed to live for 200-900 you can imagine how bad things would get. Since we are all prone to the Devils temptations under this version of history, could a human being who made it to ruler have furthered the End of the World through their genius? Imagine if the greatest scientists ever, hit their prime in their 90s, they lived on to be 300-500 years old could some bad guys live long enough to pick the best and brightest humans from the Race to further their wicked intentions bringing us all under their domination? Remember, I am talking Science Fiction like L. Ron Hubbard who wrote about Xenu living for Millions of Years buried on Earth in a Volcano! Please give me the courtesy and add your own ideas how humans could live long lives through Science Fiction if that's how you want to label our this thread! :)
Let's have a fun discussion I've heard spoken by people who believe humans were able to live long lives like Noah as we move towards "Trans Humanism" moving the Conscious in to half-robots and millions of nano-bots to keep part of us from dying. There is a article I read describing how the age of humans will get boosted to 150-200 before the 22nd Century that's pretty creepy. How do you know it's you that's inside or is it nothing more than a copy and not the original?
The question you need to ask is why did Noah's kids age fall off a cliff after the flood? Micheal Jackson belived this part of the story and sat in a hyperbaric chamber each day because it's suppose to mess with free radicals and add life to our short span.
Next is the theory that male sperm after age forty beings to deteriorate very quickly, the odds of having children with defects goes up with both men and women after age forty according to genetics articles. Noah was 500 years old when he had his kids, that might explain why their life span dropped rapidly as opposed to having kids when he was 40 in this Pre-Flood World. Adding the "Old Sperm" theory on top of the radiation that came freely because the water canopy no longer blocked out harmful UVs that age us to, that's part of the picture why people think we age quicker.
Why did Noahs kids, kids age fall down the raven too, that's a good question because you would think their DNA was still pretty strong since their only one generation away from prime DNA of Noah. Is it really hard to imagine if human beings unlocked the aging code we could no live to be two or three hundred years old if science made some incredible break-through with nanobots that re-generated the human cells making us look good?
Nobody here will participate with the Trans-human Experiment because were not rich enough and this would be set for people like Stephen Hawkings, Walt Disney and Bill Gates and that type of cream of the crop human beings!

But these theories are describing humans, not transhumans.
