Don't know what to buy for the person who has everything? Want to get something that will benefit not just the receiver, but everyone? Want something that will last or won't break after a few minutes?
Consider buying someone (Or yourself) a gift membership to the ACLU (Or any other organization that you hold dear to your heart)! The American Civil Liberties Union has been helping people keep their civil rights for over 90 years. They stand up for the constitution when others seek to erode or eradicate the rights that were given to us by the founding fathers of our nation.
If you don't want to support the ACLU, there are other organizations who have memberships, a few are the Humane Society, SPCA, NAACP, AAA, AARP (For those over 50) to name a few. It's a great way to not only give a thoughtful gift, but a way to support an organization who has a track record for helping others. In some cases, the memberships give you discounts to restaurants, prescriptions, and a host of things that can come in handy.
