    1. How many members served in Jerusalem's "Governing Body" according to the following sources?

    (a) Biblical Source (Matthew,Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Jude)

    (b) Inference from Watchtower Artist under "inspiration/direction/guidance" of March 15, 1990 Magazine.

    (c) After Jerusalem Fell in 70 AD, where did the "Governing Body" go?

    (d) From secular sources and Post Apostlic Writings and Early Church Fathers?

Should we give JW Apologist first crack at this puzzle? After 24 hours I will fill in all the blanks if JW Apologist are unable to provide evidence.

Zero. The Bible is a bunch of stories brought together by the Catholic Church hundred of years later. If I had the power to heal and make the world perfect why would I not? I wouldn't need to kill everyone to prove how awesome I am just to make man know that I have power and make sure they all worship me.

    a. There is no Governing Body that meet regulary to discuss issues developing in the Christian Community of 36CE until 200 CE.

    b. The inference from the Watchtower Magazine qouted appears close to 12-18 potential Governing Body members in Jerusalem, not accurate according to all sources available. The trouble makers causing "problems, disturbances" came from Jerusalem's (Governing Body), not Antioch or Silicia. The Watchtower Magazine in focus, errors with such a small amount of elders and Apostles and representives from Antioch not being in the picture. The magazine allows the reader to draw the conclusion the Organization desires. Pulp Fiction, this drawing is fraud and promotes the lie!

    c. There was no Governing Body, no historical evidence exists, therefore no Early Church Fathers mention this one time event, caused by the trouble makers in Jerusalem wanting the Gentiles to obey the Law of Moses.

    d. According to ancient writings, members were free to meet to discuss doctrine with everyone! The apostates who wished to steal our Christian Freedom demanded the "rank and file" not be allowed into the meetings these "Governing Body of Bishops Rule-Makers" 200C.E.

Can you guess which book I learnd this cool information from?

I think the WT sometimes implies that when Peter/Paul had their disagreement they went to the GB for 'advice'. The context in the Bible however shows that it was brought in front of an entire congregation and that Mary, the mother of Jesus was there too.

That's what I remember, been out for a year or so, it's getting fuzzy.

According to Acts there is close to 5000 members in the Jerusalem Congregation, all would have had access to this discussion since it involved all the brothers and sisters.

Paul and Barnabas head down to Jerusalem after 14 years of preaching, missionary work without meeting this phantom Governing Body, Paul say's he met "Peter and James the brother of our Lord Jesus Christ." note that Paul was not given his assignment by a "Governing Body" but by a brother "Annais" St. Paul and St. Barnabas are not directed by a Governing Body, Paul said he did not meet Peter or James (again I say this) until fourteen years after being called to serve as the "Apostle Of the Gentiles". The Governing Body myth is blown out of the water by these few statements but we proceed. Paul gets to clean up the mess the Governing Body in Jerusalem is causing by sending crazy Traveling Circuit elders to spread errors to Antioch and Silicia's congregations.

The Jerusalem congregation sends men to Antioch Syria (Coastal Side) confusing the truth and freedom of Christ, by telling the Congregation "You must be circumcized and follow the Law of Moses". Antioch elders send's brothers to see if these trouble-makers from Jerusalem are telling the truth.

A one-time gathering ensues (probably with both men and women) with Holy Spirit opperating over their meeting (Something that's never happened with the 2/3s majority fake Governing Body) in Jerusalem, it's official that Christians are not to follow the tiny little rules the men sent from the "Governing Body" are spreading all over the Christian areas. Abstain from Blood and Fornication, Idols! ..

P.S. I thought "Dirty Mary or Crazy Larry" with their "Forty JW Truths" would defend a doctrine with eternal consequences like the GB. JW Apologist must be reading old literature and being stumbled like me. I must say the inept nature of Ray Publisher's Trial threw the final wrench in my belief system with Watchtower Theology.
