Given the sexual grooming of children that is the norm, and the high rate of pedophilia, it is sure tempting to think that the Watchtower is part of such a scheme, but it is not proof that it is so.

If the Watchtower, and contemporaneous religious movements, had grass-roots origins, I wouldn't think anything of it. But that wasn't the case. If there was elitist involvement at the inception of the Watchtower, there is likely still elitist involvement.

Remember that "sex researcher" Alfred Kinsey and the Kinsey Institute used to pay paedophiles to record their crimes and subsequently used the data obtained from these criminals to make up the data in his book, Sexual Behaviour in the Human Male, which became the bible of the sexual revolution. Watchtower isn't the only one with nasty skeletons in the closet.
