You might have picked up a bug.. try a systems restore to an earlier date before you noticed this happening or do a virus scan.

Have you noticed a new toolbar in your browser such as ASK. I believe it installs by default anytime you upgrade JAVA or FLASH and takes over the search and home page by default.
If so remove it either with add remove programs or what I like to use REVO UNINSTALLER (free) as it does a better job of cleaning up the registry.
You might also want to download Malwarebytes-Antimalware (free) and run a scan for malicious programs that might be causing the redirection.

Yup, probably a Rootkit virus. In addition to the link that Badfish provided, download Malwarebytes and run it.
