Hello Bangalore,
Some have argued that food stamp help stimulate economic growth through spending? If people are not working because there are fewer jobs, little or or no spending will occur. American farmers will not sell to grocery stores. Agriculture will suffer. As the economy slowly grows to absorb the unemployed, food stamp dependents will be gradually waned off.
