I was watching Court TV this evening. And while watching this program, well I was not paying to much attention to it till they mentioned Jehovah's Witnesses. Any way I search for it on the internet to get the full story. But I could not find it.
"Who's Your Daddy?" - The Margie Coffey Murder Case

The body of a young woman was found in an icy Ohio waterway. She had been strangled to death, and most of the evidence had been washed away by the rushing water. Investigators conducted a painstaking examination of the victim's body and clothing, and discovered a tiny clue - hardly bigger than a human hair. That clue would enable police to determine where the victim had been just before she died; it would also lead them to her killer.

I don't know how long ago this happened. But here was what I caught of the story. Margie Coffee had an affair with Charles Oswalt. And the results of that a child was made. Now Mr Oswalt was a police officer and married. Him and his wife have several children. For some reason when the state (for welfare) asked who the father of the child was. She told them that she did not know who the father was. She told them the child was the result of a rape. Some time later, she started to study with Jehovah's Witnesses. They had told her that "she can no longer lie about the idenity of the father any more if she wanted to get baptized". So she started to push Mr. Oswalt for money. He offered her $3,000. But she said that is not enough, and that she was going to expose his adulitry to his wife. To shorten up the rest of the story. Miss Coffee was strangled to death by Mr. Oswalt. He is now serving time in prison for her murder. This happened at Mansfield, Ohio.

Excuses are like butts. Everyone's got em and they all stink.
I use to have an open mind,
but my brains kept falling out.

I wonder why she didn't try to hit him up for support initially.
Was she scared or intimidated by him?
I wonder how old she was.
