In view of the New Light, do we now have to reassess Rev 11:12?

(Revelation 11:11,12) 11 And after the three and a half days spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those beholding them. 12 And they heard a loud voice out of heaven say to them: “Come on up here.” And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

Does this mean the understanding of "Come on up here" at Rev 11:12 is now under review, since it has been linked to the events of 1919 which are now said to be future?:

rev chap.30 p.209 par.12 “Babylon the Great Has Fallen!”

"Babylonish Christendom’s temporary success in 1918 was sharply reversed in 1919 when the remnant of anointed ones, the John class, was restored by a spiritual resurrection. Babylon the Great had fallen as far as having any captive hold on God’s people was concerned. Like locusts, Christ’s anointed brothers swarmed out of the abyss, ready for action. (Revelation 9:1-3; 11:11, 12) They were the modern “faithful and discreet slave,” and the Master appointed them over all his belongings on earth. (Matthew 24:45-47)"

w71 12/15 p.750 par.10 Theocratic Organization with Which to Move Forward Now

"The facts of modern history show that in the year 1919 he revived these much afflicted disciples and gathered them together in a united body. Then he appointed them as his “slave” class “over all his belongings,” that is, over all his royal interests at the earth. (Rev. 11:7-12)"

What is this doing for the notion of Pure Worship?

And how about Matthew 25th chapter, the virgins and the slaves... doesnt they have to change their timing as well?

Yep + yep. But that's not even scratching the surface of what they need to change. They basically need to rip up their entire eschatology and start again from scratch. And chuck the Revelation Climax book in the dustbin while they're at it.

yadda- The Revelation Climax book led thousands to leave the Witnesses so its had some benefit.

Remember when the Society had us cut and paste their new revisions in the Climax book. At this point there is not enough cut and paste possible.

The WT are not really very good are they ?

Many posters on here over the years, and in recent threads, have suggested ways to change their doctrine that would fit scripture, be plausible, and above all accomplish what they want, which is to distance themselves from the former trash they called "food at the proper time" (read s**t for food), and keep the 7million R&F JW's trapped in the cult, and actively worshipping the Governing Body.

They really do blunder along creating more problems for themselves and their credibility with each move they make .

"God's Spirit directed Organization" is the best joke they ever published.

I have also been pointing out the Parable of the Talents, which no longer fits (even though it is obviously parallel to the Faithful and Wise Servant parable).

I think this might require throwing out the whole idea of God's organization being punished with Babylonian captivity in 1918 as punishment for its compromising attitude. It wasn't until 1919 when the appointment occurred.

I don't know, what are the implications for the new light on the whole body of teaching about God's earthly organization? Was there an organization from 33 to 1919 C.E. but not yet appointed as F&DS yet? In what sense was it an "organization", if it wasn't an appointed F&DS class?

Maybe that was part of the idea. It opens up a rich vein of revisionist writing opportunities for a Writing Dept that seemed remarkably short of ideas. Re working all the books that deal with prophecies will keep them occupied for years
