    If you have worked in two or more states you can file what is known as a combined wage claim to gain the maximum benefit. How big? Up to $674/wk, if you file in Massachusetts.

    You don't have to live in the state you file the claim in. That state gets it's money from the other states you worked in. You do have to file your first claim in MA in person in order to prevent identity fraud. you get another $25/wk for dependent children. You could file the same claim in Florida and they would pay you $275/wk. Check your neighboring states for their benefits and then decide where to file.

    I have worked in SC, Michigan and FL this year- going back to work in FL next week for a short term contract job . You can be sure that when I get laid off from this job, I will be driving to MA- I just learned how to file for this type of combined wage claim from the Nukeworker website blog-- I have never ever heard of this before- have you?
