Well folks, it's that time of year... the folks in Fredericksburg, TX will be host to a whole bunch of people who are interested in sharing what they know about 'green living'.

They didn't have it last year... so I'm not sure why they are still calling it 'annual'.

If you get the chance, drop by. It'll start on Saturday, and end on Sunday.

    September, Sept. 29 (9 am to 6 pm) & 30 (9 am to 5 pm), 2012

Downtown Fredericksburg at Market Square - 101 W. Main

I'll be there, walking around, so maybe you'll see me there... if you know what I look like (no, I won't be wearing the tux).

    Regards,

    Jim TX

Wow! Okay... so no one's going to this one.

How about the following weekend, in San Antonio - to the SolarFest?

Well, my wife and I went to Fredericksburg over the weekend.

It rained most of the day Saturday, and mostly drizzled, with an occasional light rain on Sunday... it was GREAT!

The amount of vendors set up was much smaller than what they've had before, but I believe that was due to their not having the event last year.

My wife enjoyed the cooking demonstrations, and I enjoyed the alternative building methods.

We also walked around looking at what the vendors had to offer. It was difficult pulling my wife from the lavendor vendor, and I wound up paying for a few bottles of lotions and potions from there.

If anyone got to go - I probably saw you there.

    Looking forward to this weekend.
