'A National Nuisance': The Banning Of Jehovah's Witnesses In Australia in 1941.

the unbanning later occured in 1943(?) and is a credit to the nation and the legal system in australia given that the war was far from over and the threat of Japanese invasion not turned until after the battle of Milne Bay (New Guinea) where the Japanese were defeated in a land battle for the first time.
Re the 'nuisance' i fear the society will again ensure that JW's become nuisances so they the wts can cry persecution and to hell with the individual bros and sisters.
My mother and grandmother were JWs during WW2 and I heard alot about "the ban" in 1943, including the local JW radio station which was rumoured to be sending signals to the enemy (Japan).
I believe they are more than a nuisance. It is a nuisance when they show up at your door while you are expecting something from UPS. However, when they bind your soul to their Jehovah, they become a menace.
The dedication is when they do that. You pray to Jehovah, and your study conductor announces it to the hounders. You get 5 interrogation sessions, usually 2 hounders' meetings behind your back, and your public declaration at baptism. Additionally, there may be others that are eager to usher your soul to irreversible damnation. They get bound with your soul, adding much energy to the dedication. Later, if you wish to dedicate to another god or goddess (Satan, Astaroth, or whatever), you find your soul isn't free to be dedicated to Satan or Astaroth. (Or anyone else.) Your problems continue, you get nothing, and all because you are still viewed as dedicated to Jehovah from the astral. A disassociation letter will NOT solve this issue once your dedication reaches the astral! You only disconnect from the religion, not Jehovah.
And once this dedication reaches the astral, it is only a matter of time before it manifests itself in reality. That is why so many people get disfellowshipped, remain that way for 20 years, only to return to the cancer later. And it explains why people are inactive for some 20 years, only to return to the cancer. Often, prayers made on your behalf, especially when someone took part in binding your soul to Jehovah, hasten this process. And even if you die before it is made manifest, the dedication remains in effect. I believe this explains why there are people that are born into the cancer, get baptized at age 6, and stay in, pious-sneering and sacrificing much, until they die at age 98. Those people are damned to repeat, usually in some cult like the Jehovah's Witlesses or in some strict Jewish group that also worships Jehovah, until their souls dissipate.
A mere nuisance, they are not. The group known as Jehovah's Witlesses are a true menace, and they deprive anyone of the right to find spirituality. They deny them Satan, they deny them Jesus, they deny them anything but the witlesses themselves.
