Saw this article on Cracked today and since so many in the ex-JW community have grown up in the equivalent of a broken home, I thought it was very applicable to post it here.
Warning, it uses some vulgar language so proceed at your own discretion.
Interesting read! It's nice to learn why some people are the way they are. Both my parents were from dysfunctional families, and that explained a lot.
That was an awesome read. Makes you wonder just how many problems people have that stem from emotional issues like these. That could be and hopefully one day will be prevented simply through education about them.

Oooo yeah, those sound familiar...
Another great read is "Toxic Parents" by Susan Forward. Not nearly as many cuss words, but a much longer book and filled with excellent information - and some heart-breaking examples.
