I have'nt really been to this site for a few months and I'm wondering if the WTBS have officially aknowledged their involement with the UN.

Also how are they handling phone calls when people ask if they have been with the UN?

They acknowledged it by claimed it was only for doing library research even though many websites them attending UN sponsored humans rights commission meetings and the like etc. That they were definitely a Non-Governmental Organization in a formal capacity was proved by material on UN websites and items they had had to use in Awake articles to keep that liason. When this was exposed they quit the UN after 10 years of the secret liason they had had even while continuing to lambast the UN to elders and rank-and-file, then tried the library card dodge. For links see http://www.observer.org and http://www.freeminds.org and use the search box on this website as well. As to phone calls those posting about this indicate they have responded courteously after getting the name of the callers, their congregation if any etc, but thereafter gone into the library card dodge and said it's just lies from apostates. But again there is now a wealth of proof for those with open minds.

click on the forum entitled 'scandals' and start looking!!! A lot has happened!!! Start cutting and pasting!!!

In 1975 a crack team of publishers was sentenced to death by a judicial commiteee. They promptly escaped from the cult and now live life on the run. If you have a problem ... and if you can find them ... maybe you can contact the A--postate Team"

I phoned the Irish branch office, and was told by Arthur Matthews that the Watchtower Society's association with the UN was only for access to UN materials and that, at the time, no acceptance of UN rules was required for association. He also confirmed that the UN is still viewed as the "scarlet-coloured wild beast" of Revelation and told me that the Watchtower Society had disassociated itself from the UN before the Guardian article was published.
