Has anyone gone to public re the current Wt vs Conti court case?

    Yes, here in Australia their have been a few , Though I am yet to see anything or hear anything from the media

    It could be that as the thing is going to Appeal the media will not show much interest until the result of that is known, but we should keep on trying, I think it is "newsworthy" at present, before the Appeal is heard.

    I assume her lawyer, Rick Simons, did. When the verdict was first announced, it was covered widely. Mainstream newspapers reported it. The punitive damage award from the jury was so large, it stunned legal commentators. I expect the appeal from the highest court in CA will also be reported widely. If Conti is successful, all religions will be affected. There are some hurdles. One of the hurdles is the length of time getting to the first layer of appellate courts. So much money is at stake that both parties will appeal a negative decision.
