  That's the story. Interstingly, archeologists have never found a trace of solomons supposed temple. Pagan gentile Herod the edomite completed construction of a temple in jerusalem only about 50 yrs before jesus is supposed to have walked there. The jews considered that construction, built by unclean gentile hands, to be their god yahweh's holy dwelling place.
