I had a random thought about this not that long ago. I was thinking, gee, what if the Mayans were here and were asked about this? Somehow, I figured they might say, "What? What are you talking about? When the calendar gets to the end, we just flip it over and start again!" I figured that people showing up thousands of years later might not quite be sure of what they're looking at, you know?
But like so much of human existence, there seems to be this notion that human life and human understanding are somehow more meaningful than the larger fabric of the universe. As if the very world will rise or fall depending on their grandiose utterances. Considering how brief our existence already is, can't we just shut up and get on with it?

The end already happened, just like Y2K--Feb 14, 2012. And, since it was just the end of the Age of Pisces, nothing significant happened right at that moment. However, we are seeing more people starting to question the Big Three religions including religions once viewed as too sacred to bash. You will be seeing even more of that going on as we get deeper in--within the next 50-100 years, anti-Satanism will be viewed as offensive while anti-right hand path religion will be universal.
