Watchtower view of logic

The Watchtower's position on logic and truth is basically that there are two logics (God's and man's) and two truths (God's and man's). This position makes knowledge impossible (especially knowledge of God) and allows the Society to contradict itself with impunity.

Read my letter to the Society:

    their reponse:

and my reply to that response:

I love this exchange of letters with the watchtower society about the flood. After being completely defeated by a very logically presented argument, they terminated the conversation with: "We suggest that you let the matter rest, and perhaps in time something more will be published to clarify matters."

Watchtower's approach to logical arguments: When you can't support your argument and defend your position to someone who is challenging you, just tell them to shut up.

Pretty humorous SM the way you used the point in the propaganda article to prove that the WTBTS acknowledges that there are in fact rules of logic.

No doubt you've noticed that the WTBTS uses all of the propaganda techniques it condemns to control their followers. Cruelly ironic.

And to think I still have to go play church with these insane people every week so that I can keep my family and my wife. Is it any wonder people shoot themselves and become alcoholics in this religion?

Excellent logic used and there response was completely feeble and didn't even address the questions asked. They dance around subjects with as much skill as corrupt politicians.

Their vagueness and ambiguity leave far more questions than the original query; thanks for posting this.
