All this talk of god, my wires blew!

    LITERALLY!

There was belowing white smoke, horrid smell. No not the brain frying, my car - or rather a wire in my car. A lil wire dangling without a care in the world until today - I initially thought "if there is a god, you have a damn sick sense of humour, trying to push me even further to see what kind of a person I am"

Then, I changed gear, realised I'm the god of my own fate and called the electrician. Problem sorted out for R350. Wish god answered when called - wouldn't even mind paying for services rended.

You are seeking help from the wrong god. I have more than 300 Greek & Roman gods. I am prepared to share. You can rent for $25 or buy one of my god's at a discounted price of $150 - as you are a forum member.

Mind you there is no money back guarantee and each god sold is invisible. The only thing that can be proved to exist will be your money.

    Hope this helps.

    I'm with ya!

I toggle between atheist and agnostic; everyday I find myself saying at least once, "if there is a God he's one sick twisted son-of-a-bitch".

"You are seeking help from the wrong god. I have more than 300 Greek & Roman gods. ..." The Gladiator, above...

    Hrumph.

LouBelle, save your money. Next time pray to the Roman god Vulcan - god of fire and smiths - and by extension, metalworking and all things mechanical...

Oh, and toss a few nuts & bolts into a volcano, for extra credit - er, to better gain "His" favor....

oooh gods on discount - I like, always up for a bargain.

metallic sacrifices - sounds a little s&m to me.

    Hee hee hee hee!!

But your car is O-K now, right??

Psst! Better idea!! When you pick out your next car - new or used - refer to the "Consumer Reports" or its British equivalent, and pick out the car which is ranked as the MOST mechanically reliable...

That's saved us thousands of dollars and untold frustrations.
