I can't remember one.
Would it be for general fiction or for JW related books?

Good question, non-JW would provide a good breather, allow our minds to vary?
Fiction or Non Fiction, one poster mentioned our lack of basic "Textual Critic"knowledge (F.F. Bruce, Dr. Bart Ehrman, Wallace, Metzger, Fredrick Kenyon), anything up for grabs? Foreign translated books into our language of choice, even political books if the group decides.

Has a book club been tried on JWN?
Terry has suggested discussing The Little Prince.

Twas tried. It had a successful beginning but fizzled out hard and fast. ;)

My browser won't seem to make those clickable. With that said, I think the site is large enough to support the idea if people actually participate. It was great fun when it worked... but when there was no participation at the end... well, it just seemed like a lot of people weren't interested in following through on the concept. ;)
But perhaps if you try it your experience will be different. There are new and different people to participate now than there were 3 years ago, I'm sure. :)

I think book clubs only work when there are snacks.

What do you mean exactly by a book club? On a forum?
Sounds intriguing but a bit odd.

I am all for reading books on textual criticism, it's one of my favourite subjects. I have read the most popular texts by Metzger, Ehrman, Aland and so on. A bit heavy for a book club though.
