The other sheep should never forget that their salvation depends on their active support of Christ's anointed "brothers" still on earth. From March 15, 2012 study edition article entitled, Rejoicing In Our Hope?

First how much stretching does it take to make this leap? (using that scripture in that context) And Second, does/can this scripture be used to reference their anointed anyway. That scripture says "(Matthew 25:34) 34 "Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, YOU who have been blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for YOU from the founding of the world. . ." Wouldn't the kingdom prepared from the founding of the world preclude a heavenly kingdom??

You have to look at the various ideas of an afterlife and resurrection that where taught within Judaism at the time.

I was thinking of the jw teachings. I always thought they taught (and I thus believed LOL) that the heavenly hope was not in existence prior to the sinning of the first pair.

JWs teach incorrectly that the heavenly hope was first taught by Jesus and offered to his disciples. Most of what Jesus taught had been covered by the (dreaded) Pharisees for centuries prior to Jesus' time.
