If the GB now admit their interpetations or writings (WT) is NOT spirit inspired ....(only admiting the early Christians writings (bible was inspired)...how can they even believe they are of the annointed????

Russel and friends believed they were of the annointed, and we know how their end time interpetation dates went......and later GB...."This Generation" and 1914......1975...... interpetations ended.

Watchtower: 23. March 1, 1979. "the “faithful and discreet slave” has alerted all of God’s people to the sign of the times indicating the nearness of God’s Kingdom rule. In this regard, however, it must be observed that this “faithful and discreet slave” was never inspired, never perfect. Those writings by certain members of the “slave” class that came to form the Christian part of God’s Word were inspired and infallible [the bible], but that is not true of other writings since."

Boy am I slow at the gate....I just figured the GB annointing sham out..........all jokes and humor welcomed.....

I read somewhere on this board awhile back that certain members of the gb are not even anointed at all. How they can justify this is beyond me. I mean honestly, if the so-called anointed members are not inspired, how can other sheep lawyers going to be able to channel Jah's will????

Everything the GB say is looney tunes, when you lie that much its hard to keep track of whats the truth. Obviously some forgot that they should be annoited to be a GB member.

All members of the GB claim to be of the anointed, it is a prerequisite for the job.

However, claiming to be something and actually being something are two different things.

One thing is sure though, they will all be 'sipping & nibbling' on 5th April.

All the members of the GB are still "anointed." No other sheep yet. What happened is the officers of the corporatioons no longer had to be anointed and the WTS explained that was because that would mean the GB could concentrate on "spiritual" rather than "business" things.

How does the Governing Body differ from a legal corporation?

While directors of a legal corporation are voted into office by its members, the Governing Body is not appointed by any man but is appointed by Jesus Christ. There is no need for the directors of various corporations used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to be members of the Governing Body. At the recent annual meeting of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, members of the Governing Body who were serving as its directors and officers voluntarily stepped aside from their positions. The vacancies were filled by mature brothers of the “other sheep.” (John 10:16) Thus the Governing Body can spend more time in preparing spiritual food and in otherwise caring for the spiritual needs of the worldwide brotherhood.—1/15, pages 29, 31.

Blondie? Do you happen to know if there was ever one member on the GB that wasn't anointed? I swear a couple years ago I looked on Wiki, and the way they had the GB was listed, it had anointed next to the names except for this one person. Last year I went to check it out again and it was deleted or corrected, I'm sure of this. Oh, and it was listed as a current (as of a couple years ago) GB member too, it wasn't one that had passed. The only reason it left such an impression was because I was surpized to see this, and now it's gone....
