Everybody's got a little bit of a Montrose fan inside. (For you youngsters, cassette tapes were before CD's and after 8-tracks.)
I loved his music when I was a teen, practically wore out my cassette (and my ear drums).

I rememeber this dude ... the album I bought of his was GAMA 2 in 1980.. it had two shark fins cuting through a lawn.. and i remeber thinking that is bitching.. and the album rocked..

Yeah I saw him live at an all day outdoor concert in Chico, California in 1981 I think it was.
Dave Mason and the Starship were also on the bill .... good times, good times!

He played with Edgar Winter in the early 70's. Also, played on "Frankenstein".
