Watchtower Leadership – Believe Its Own Blood Doctrine?

Today I added a new article to my blog. It examines the question of whether Watchtower’s top leadership believes its own doctrine on blood. A retrospective view shows the answer is an emphatic, no.

My article is titled Watchtower Leadership – Believe Its Own Blood Doctrine? and is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2012/02/watchtower-leadership-believe-its-own.html

Honestly, these days I think the Watchtower organization would sooner not know what one of Jehovah’s Witnesses chooses to do regarding blood transfusion. Unfortunately there are millions of Jehovah’s Witnesses who have been taught blood transfusion is a sin and they should report sin by fellow believers. This leaves Watchtower in the awkward position of having to do something with these reports to at least placate the ones reporting.

My own opinion is that Watchtower is slowly trying to extract itself from this mess. By making more and more blood products acceptable for Witnesses it becomes nearly impossible for a fellow Witness to know when, precisely, that a sin has been committed in need of report. Hence less reports! This is, in my opinion, exactly what Watchtower prefers. It is the endgame Watchtower has planned.

Watchtower’s top leadership has not believed its own blood doctrine for a long, long time.

"Watchtower’s stated reason for its blood doctrine has remained static. Projection of that doctrine has changed dramatically. We have the following distinctly different manifestations of the doctrine:

? Blood is sacred therefore accepting any form of blood for transfusion is wrong and members who act otherwise should be shunned by family and friends for the rest of their lives or until they repent of the sin.

? Blood is sacred but the only forms of blood it is definitely wrong to accept are those of whole blood, red cells, white cells, platelets or plasma. Otherwise if the blood is sufficiently fractionated then accepting all of it is not necessarily wrong.

The doctrinal projection went from prohibiting everything to accepting everything (so long as it is sufficiently fractionated)."

The JW leadership's changed view on their blood doctrine is evidence alone that Holy Spirit is not directing this organization.

And what about the deal made with the Bulgarian government?

And that not one of them has a damn bit of honest sense. Every single one of them is a self-righteous hypocrite running a religion business. After prostitution, it's the next oldest "profession".
