Doesn't it seem that Plaintiff will take the reduced judgement amount according to the Appellate Court ruling ? But if Defendants disagree with the ruling and take the case to the US Supreme Court, Plaintiffs have no choice because they are taken there with case.

Actually, considering that she was originally only seeking $1440 in (symbolic) damages, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if she donated the majority of her court winnings to SNAP or some other similar group.
