The only real win of any substance the WTS has had in this is having their punitive fines reduced.
Having the court declare that they had no legal responsibility to warn anyone is an empty victory, in that it just affirms the Org's right to behave like a bag full of dicks.
They certainly haven't come out of this looking like gold medalists.

Candace, Please please when the money arrives be very aware
- of the 'friends' who will arrive with it to help you spend it.
- of your lifes need for a house paid for. ( and a decent car)
- perhaps putting yourself through college
- and to consider your mums needs as well.
It may sound like a tired old parents advice that's because it is. I have seen people get big sums and its gone in weeks, giving a huge moral victory to the offenders side.

A reliable and trustworthy financial advisor is a good idea (local credit union might be a good idea, combined with a recommended lawyer.)
Its a problem (the money part) that wouldn't be so bad to have except that statistically, it often isn't a long term boon.

No, she is challenging the Watchtower, she knows only too well that God has nothing to do with them, or they wouldn't have designed policies that favored pedophiles at the expense of children.
