Yes, that's right; they are asking for someone to admit to looking at porn, a private act, but are not willing to even mention child sexual abuse.
Why?
Oh, that's right; you can still go door to door even if you are a KNOWN abuser.

You must not have viewed any type of pornography within the past two years....Why bring up the matter of viewing pornography at all for those applying for the SKE? Is viewing pornography among the single pioneers, married elders, ministerial servants and their wives a problem and that widespread that WT has to specifically mention 'pornography' in this questionaire? Why not get more specific and ask applicants if they abuse drugs, alcohol and are prone to temper tantrums? Why zero in on pornography and why pinpoint 2 years as the cut-off? This falls under the category of ...Bizzarro!!!
It sounds like to me that the 115,000+ congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses may be rife with perverts!

Silly! It's a biblical number with incredible significance! You see ... 2 and 4 represent the 2nd and 4th book of the bible, specifically Exodus (6 letters) and Numbers (7 letters). 6 x 7 = 42. If you take the inverse of that (representing the flip flop of doctrines), you get 24. See? It makes perfect sense.
For one brief agonizing moment you transported me back to a 70s-80s era book study...[shudder].

An elder I know who's still loyally in told me that online porn has become "a real problem" among brothers (males) and that their wives are often the ones who turn them in.
I guess this letter just reflects one way the organization is attempting to deal with the issue. (???)

The WT organization is struggling with all kinds of issues or monsters that they have created. The matter of JWs habitually visiting Porn sites is not going away any time soon! They have truck loads of rank and file (no doubt Bethelites as well) who frequent soft and hard-core sites. The GB strongly encouraging everyone to have smart phones, Ipads and other electronic devices makes it very tempting to drop-in on these skin-flick websites. The cases of JCs dealing with young and old JWs sexual internet adventures is going to go through the roof!
As the old saying goes...'you reap what you sow'!
