Getting Ready to Go To War

This whole thing of Jehovah's Witnesses--it's not my war. But that doesn't mean a soldier doesn't have a part in it.

I live with my wife and her two brothers (for those who need the refresher course in arkonomics) and the brothers, being Witnesses, tend to be real P's in my A. You ever been talked down to by a Star Trek geek? He gets all smug because he can speak Klingon and "relate" negative Star Trek events to you? As smug as he is, you don't know what he's even talking about because he's only smart and clever in Captain Kirk's world. Not the real world.

    *Go Star Wars!*

That's what it's like with these two. Every day. For the last 4 and a half years. They won't give you a straight answer on non-biblical items because they are part of the 99% of Witnesses who think "theocratic warfare" extends to non-Jehovah related facets of life. I'm not kidding about this example:

In early October 2011, I was in the next room over when my sister in law told the younger brother she was moving out at the end of the month. My wife and I were living in the smallest bedroom in the house and we were going to move to her room (the largest) when she left. I knocked on his door (right across the hall from her room) and asked if he could help me move the heavy stuff down the stairs. He asked why.

"We're getting your sister's room when she moves."

    "She's moving?"

"You didn't know?" I asked sardonically.

    "No, when is she moving?"

Case in point, he had no reason to lie about knowing that, but he is so hardwired into lying to anyone outside the "truth" that he lies needlessly. His older brother is no better. He lies when you have pictures and video evidence.

They are both extraordinarily lazy. The older brother works part time and spends his free time playing video games or sleeping. He spends 6 to 16 hours a day on video games, depending when he has work.

The younger brother does nothing. He goes to work and comes home, where he stays in his room for the entire day, save for using the restroom. If he's not in his room, which is rare, he's out pretending he's a good little Witness.

But he's not. And I have proof. Photos. Videos. So much more.

His older brother has some of the darkest shadows covering the countless skeletons in his closet. I've got photos. Emails. Screen captures. Letters. And again, so much more.

Their mother has seen how lazy they are here, and is arranging to have their elders make an appearance at this house to talk to the younger brother about his laziness. By the time they get here, they will be talking to both.

I'm aware of their stance on believing anything a "non-believer" offers, but undisputable, (mostly) non-digital evidence is hard to ignore. I wish I could explain what I have on them, so you readers would have a clearer picture of the situation, but I can't. I cannot promise myself a df, but the weight of the evidence will merit strict discipline and that's good enough for me.

Because they are theocratic liars, my second wave in this war will be the use of a book I find to be astonishing in it's existence.

    Kingdom Linear Translations

Why no one has told me about this book before is a complete mystery to me, but I enjoy its contents.
As far as I'm aware, the WTS has not backtracked any stance it has on the support of this book they made, which shows numerous discrepancies between the source material and the NWT.
To me, that's a heck of an artillery shell. When the Witness explains the discrepancies as "context" and "interpretation" it nulls the NWT into the Word of Man. Context is a man-made device. Interpretation is man-made as well. God is not the author of confusion. So He won't use vague or cryptic wording that can be "easily" misinterpreted. Taken out of context.

Every theological discussion will be undeniable wave after wave of real truth, using the WTS' own translation of the greek texts.

I like pdf's, but I loooove hardcopy. Can't say "the apostate altered it," if it's a book from your own library.

My goal is knocking them down a peg or seven. They have become the Jewish authority of the New Testament. They are pharisees and hypocrites, looking down their nose at people who just can't stomach fallacy, though they themselves intentionally violate their own interpretation of the scriptures behind closed doors.

To quote Hot Shots Part Deux: "War. It's FANtastic."

I'd like to go to war with my JW family members. But I don't think I'd ever win.
