Three times in two weeks! Somebody has a grudge.

$500,000 in damages one time, and $400,000 in damages the next. Can this KH be worth over a million dollars? Must be in the high rent district.

And now a third attempt, but it didn't ignite. Somebody's going to have to hire a security guard.

Possibly the amount of damage is something that they want to up so that they can get more money! Someone must have a real grudge against them, at least he wasn't doing it while the dubs were inside.

They're insured by wts kh fund so if they inflate the costs of damages it's probably for sympathy reasons while we have to remember that the labor is free so I don't see how it's possible for them to have incurred 500,000 in material damages.

The sad part is that the majority of JW's in that cong. will have mixed emotions about the fires. They will be saddened about the loss, but at the same time they will be happy thinking that they are being persecuted, and it will only make them stronger in their resolve.

We're talking about Southern California real estate, so a million dollars isn't out of line for what a contractor hiring paid employees would bid on a major rebuild on a place of assembly. With volunteer labor the Watchtower can do the job for less, but fire investigators and the DA would cite the full market price for demolition, cleanup and repairs without deducting anything for volunteer labor.
