I very often just get random thoughts popping into my brain. I was thinking about how the WT always makes a big deal of studies sending a formal letter/notice to their church to ask to be taken off of their rolls, as opposed to just not going anymore. The need to put everyone in a neat little category- inactive, strong in the "truth", weak in the "truth", D/A'd, d/f'd, sheep, goat, etc.
I read a post today by a new JWN member who obviously took a wrong turn somewhere, and would like one of us to send him/her a recording of the CA for his/her elderly parents to "enjoy." I was just thinking, "I smell a 'remove me and my comments from this awful site!' thread coming as soon as this person figures out where he/she is.
In order to show repentance for the unforgivable sin (?) of eating at the table of demons, er apostates, the person must formally ask to be removed from the JWN roster, instead of just fading into obscurity by never posting again.
I get it now.
