Any social order that gives authority to others is prone to abuses by sociopaths.It happens in families, the workplace etc. Now if you were to emphasize the fact that one should never question even egregious abuses of power by those appointed to positions of oversight because JW's must suspend all common sense & ability to call bullshit, you would be exposing a unique aspect of the Theocracy as preached by WT. No one may question the sociopath elder's demagoguery. Suffer & wait is the mantra.

Once a person puts themselves within a monotheistic theocracy they essentially create a bubble around themselves. Anything outside of that bubble is a threat and needs to be discredited or even proven false because of the person's perspective within the bubble. A bubble is a good symbol because of it's delicacy. The person inside the bubble treats their beliefs as sacred as well as delicate.
For example Witnesses are brought up believing that certain movies, or any type of entertainment for that matter, are considered against what a true theocratic Christian would consider entertainment. This is why many Witnesses seem to be on the war path against certain types of entertainment. It is because they have been convinced by the Watchtower that to be truly within God's love you have to abide by his theocratic rules as told by the Watchtower. So, instead of simply stating that they don't enjoy certain types of entertainment because they believe it holds immoral values, they state that GOD doesn't want them being entertained by it because of it's immoral values. This is where a the very idea of an earthly theocracy becomes extremely dangerous. Untold amounts of horror has been created because of the simple mistake of believing that one's opinion is God's law.
