imagine this conversation with someone supposedly "high up" in the jw org (someone who is supposed to really know his/her stuff)
ok this is what i say:
"omg look at that lightning omgomgomg and the thunder, GOD IS ANGRY *panic*"
<high-up jw> "oh hohohohohehehahehah! my little friend, that is not god! that is just an atmospheric electrostatic discharge and that other thing is called thunder or a sonic shock wave, you silly little man hehaheahahe! hohohoho!"
ok, so you turn around and say to him, ok let's follow YOUR OWN LOGIC....and go a bit deeper into science....is this the point of cognitive dissonance? it's genesis (cognitive dissonance) in the mind of a jw? he/she then becomes the same silly little man that he is calling ME, for thinking lightning and thunder means god is angry?
hohohoho those are not neanderthal bones hohoho ...you see...god got drunk....and then...dinosaur bones? nooo ...you see..god was actually on lsd that day.
