Serious question. This seems to be a myth that exists among JW's. They claim apostates have left and started their own religions. Well which religion has been started by a former JW? ...........................
Ask a JW that question and then watch them change the subject.
There's a cult in Australia,, unfortunately, some ex or former JWs are really nut cases.
Not many.
Some were Bible Students who left before 1931.
Others just joined already existing religious groups.
A few have started small home churches.
For the most part the stay away from organized religion. Some leave their religious connections totally.
So according to Wikipedia, very few.
I agree with blondies earlier post about most staying away from organized religion altogether. The longer I have been out, the less I feel a need to be a part of an organized church or meeting or group.
