Acts 1:8 says: "you will be witnesses of me...... to the most distant part of the earth"

This scripture is nowhere to be found in the "Bible Teach " book.

The WTS slide, glide, and side step all 'round this scripture cause it ain't in line with what they teach, which ain't the truth.

On page 86 chapter 9 paragraph 2 in the "Bible Teach" book the WTS wrote:

" Jesus Christ spoke about the kingdom of God........( Luke 4:43) people wanted to know when the kingdom would come, in fact Jesus disiples asked him.......Jesus told them only Jehovah knew ( Matthew 24:36)."

Why jump from luke to Matthew when Acts 1: 3,6, and 7 show all of this??????

because it leads into Acts; 1:8

A verse the WTS rather you not read because it's something they don't follow.

If you go to the Reasoning book, on page 208 the bottom paragraph states:

"Christians are supposed to be witnesses for Jesus."

    then the WTS writes:

" The publisher might reply: " But here is something that may be a new thought to you."

Yes, Jesus was a faithful witness to his father, but he said to be witnesses of him .

Galatians warns in 1:8,11 about anything different.

Chpapter 15 in the " Bible teach" book compares false worship to counterfeit money

so which is the counterfeit money, the WTS literature or Acts 1:8

" Jesus Christ spoke about the kingdom of God........( Luke 4:43)

VS: 44 - he preached in the synagogues. JWs will have some spin as to why they are exempt from fully following Jesus no doubt!

He always referred to 'the kingdom of the HEAVENS'!

people wanted to know when the kingdom would come, in fact Jesus disiples asked him.......Jesus told them only Jehovah knew ( Matthew 24:36)

Lovely! They never explain vs: 41 very well. Although this verse is quite easy to understand if you believe in a 2nd coming ala mainstream Christianity. (I'm not saying you should, but just making the point that the WBT$ CLAIMS to be Christian but is far from it).

All we see are unconnected cherry picked scriptures glued together like a ransom note made of different sized & font letters from newspaper scraps.

They aint teaching a lot really just being dogmatic for their twisted doctrine.

They rarely take a whole passage in context and explain it.....and when they do it's convoluted and tedious like the Isaiah books. Even then they crowbar WBT$ dogma into them to fit.

I always enjoyed reading the Bible and found that when I went to the publications for clarification they ruined my experience!
