My Aunty/Grandma/Mom/Mom's Friend/Elderly Sis in the next cong. (Choose one of the above). Anyway she is 95 years old and has been driving for 77 years (according to her family).
Today on the way to field service she had a slow motion crash, rolled her car right over and came to rest back on her wheels. The car was wrecked but she got out with just a few scratches and bruises. The hospital suspected cracked ribs but xrays revealed no damage. I have never met anyone as tough and resilient and as immune to adversity.
She has been a faithful witness for over 60 years and I salute her faithfulness. It don't matter what the rights and wrongs are you have to respect her loyalty. I just wish that the organization she has given such huge chunk of her life for was worthy of her.
This will have been her last time behind the wheel, decades of skillful motoring now at an end.
Sorry about the smoke and mirrors but ya can't be too careful.
