I have just wacth the new movie "Oranges and Sunshine" the story of so many children from England being shipped to Australia and put into orphanages and suffered terrible child abuse at the hands of many priests, "fathers". It was very powerful and sad, Margaret Humphries, the founder of the Childs Migrant Trust started the ball rolling in the mid 1980's and she helps children (now adults) to try and contact their family and find out who they really are. She had death threats by so called christians in the Catholic church and the Government, both Australian and English have only apoligised only in the last couple of years.
It sort of reminded me of how Barbara Andeson and Bill Bowen went out on a limb to help abused children in the "organization" and how they have been punished for all the good work they have done. I just want to say that their work is not done in vain and I'm sure that evryone has a special place in their hearts for all the work that has been done.
