I find it interesting that so often they refrain from using real names, using some ficticious name as though using the real name would be "wrong" In this mag in the article "the bible changes lives" not only do they use the actual names but they even publish pictures of the individuals. I know this isn't a new phenomina but it seems kind of silly.

Just because they post stock photos of smiling people still doesn't prove that the stories are BS or at the very least embellished.

    Just ask this scientician....

I get exactly what you are saying, but these are not stock photos. These are witlesses over whom they want to brag. Just check out the mag to see.

They often do "life stories" of lifetime Bethelites or missionaries or GB members. They use their real names.

But when they put an "experience" in a study article, they make up a fake name.

I am sure they have some sort of idiotic in-house rule for when and why this is the case. Anyone know Andre? Try asking him. My guess is that if the name is made up, so is the story. It is so that nobody can track it to the actual person to confirm/disconfirm the extra bullcrap the Borg has added to their experience.

One time we took pictures for the WTS. They would have us take pictures of witnessing experiences. They would use the actual publisher in the experience, but the "worldy" person would be a JW substituting for the real person.
