I have just read a short review of the book with the above title and I quote :" The last week in the life of Jesus Christ has puzzled scholars for centuries. What, for example did Jesus do on the missing wednesday? Why do three gospels say the last supper was a meal celebrated during the Jewish Passover while the fourth gospel(John) claims it happened before Passover?"

Anybody like to make some comments on this?

Here's my take on this: Some people view the Gospel accounts as some sort of newspaper article: written down as it happened, where all the facts and events are real and can be checked and verified.

Most Bible scholars now believe they were written decades later, maybe copied from one source document. John's Gospel will never fit into any time scale, because it is an account written without concern for the facts. Jesus clearing the temple of the money-changers is put at the start, instead of at the end like the 3 synoptic gospels, and many other events were altered to favour the writer (John) and to discredit other writers and their written accounts. Rather funny, really.
