    Coercion to Refuse Blood

Today I uploaded a new article to my blog documenting instances of inappropriate coercion to have Jehovah’s Witness patients refuse blood.

The article clippings from the early 1950s are a must read. They share the story of Bethelites who came home from Watchtower for the sole purpose of forcing their will against blood transfusion onto their unconscious sister. Your eyes will pop when you get near the end of this story.

The later articles from reputable news sources and vetted medical journals further demonstrate that inappropriate coercion continues, though these days it is more sophisticated with Watchtower’s Hospital Liaison Committees and all.

The article it titled Coercion to Refuse Blood and is available at:

'Coercion To Refuse Blood' is a good way to put it. Another title that would be appropriate is 'Bullying To Refuse Blood'.

Did Jesus ever use coercion or bully anyone? Nope. No record in the Bible of that type of behavior on his part.

Thank you again GB/WTBTS for your coercive and bullish leadership! Thanks for nothing.

Thank you Marvin, marvelous simply marvelous. You da man!

You are such a jewel to put this information out there.

I can not help but think of the ending of the movie Der Verdener, where the congregation is holding the funeral for the young JW woman. The elder speaking states how the JWs were 'standing by her side' to ensure that the young woman 'stayed strong' in her committment to Jehovah. That's how they sugar coat the coercion pill for the rest of the congregation to swallow without questioning what really went down in the hospital room.

Yes, well there is someone I will not talk about on here out of respect ever, someone close to me, and the coersion aspect of the blood issue was involved, that is all I have to say.
