Peter Stoner calculated the odds against eight of the messianic prophecies being fulfilled in one man. It comes out to a ridiculously improbable number. Just google his name and it will pop up.
This does not of course have any relevance to the veracity of the WTS but it does raise questions about where the best of the bible comes from. There is so much unthinking brutality and corruption recorded and yet there are gems that enrich life.
The older I get the less I know. I do know that I wish I was as sure about anything as the WT is of everything.
I would appreciate any comments about Stoner’s calculations.
